Hard Chrome Plating
Hard chrome plating involves depositing a hard layer of chrome onto ferrous and non-ferrous material via an electrolytic process from a chromic acid solution. Hard chrome has widespread industrial applications due to properties like high hardness, increased resistance to wear & tear, resistance to corrosion, low co-efficient of friction for better lubricity, and oil retention. These properties make it an ideal material for industrial equipment such as rollers, tie-bars, rams, guide-bars, piston-rods, etc. Hard chrome plating can also be used to extend the lifespan of expensive and hard to replace machine components, and repair damages, worn out, or mismatched parts.

Over the years, Gujarat Electroplaters has developed innovations in jigging, masking, and anode design to improve the hard chrome plating process, and make it more efficient. We are able to deliver plating jobs of up to 630 mm. diameter, 6000 mm. length, and 5000 kg. weight. We offer a guaranteed hardness of up to 58-65 HRc, and plating thickness as per your specifications.

Some of the industries for which we are able to meet the hard-chrome plating requirements are plastics, textiles, paper & printing lamination, automotive, plywood, etc.
